Program Advancing Girls’ Education (PAGE)
PAGE combines supplemental educational support to the public school system to help our students achieve academic success. We aspire to raise the number of Khmer girls that graduate from high school and college by providing these opportunities to underprivileged students. PAGE aims to provide an unbiased path for young girls in Cambodia’s Siem Reap Province to achieve the highest possible level of education.
The program will expand from 27 girls to 36 goals in 2015, and all will be able to take advantage of new facilities such as the soon to be completed PAGE library.

PAGE acts as a sanctuary for girls who wish to continue their education through high school and beyond. It is our primary goal to provide educational and life assistance to young girls in Cambodia, so they may improve their lives, their families’ lives, and find hope for their future.
Beneficiaries are provided with care, food, accommodation, tutoring, educational supplies, and scholarships according to the needs of each individual student. Scholarships can take students from the junior high school level right through to their graduation at university. This allows the young girls to look forward to a brighter, happier future in which they can support themselves, their families and their communities.
The girls are dedicated to their studies and there is a visible commitment to improving their futures. LHA works to instill in them a sense of independence, building their capacity and ability, and empowering them with the knowledge to build a bright and successful future, achieving lifelong goals and contributing to their society.

LHA also has a University Scholarship Program which targets other young Cambodian woman who would not otherwise have the opportunity to continue their education to the university level. Buddhist Monks may also apply for these scholarships as LHA believes it is important to ensure these strong community role models have the opportunity to continue their education.
